What connects all of these together and whats makes the difference in between? If you have the answer than you have your God and purpose.

What connects living and dying would be living.You are dealt a life at birth, you will live it for however long the Lord has given you.What you do in and with it is your choice.Your purpose in this life is not revealed until your time of death,I think anyway.The spreading of the Word should direct your path.Hallelujah...

Contrary to what you've been told, we all existed as spiritual entities in the pre-mortal existence with our Heavenly Father.
Those of us that came to earth knew well that we would be challenged in trials, uplifted in our joys, and hope to make the right decisions to return to the Father's presence.
When we die, our spirits go to a world of spirits to await the final resurrection and then the judgment of Christ. Subsequent to that, our eternal glory or hell will be assigned to each of us.

Before, I didn't exist, I don't exist inherently now, and when I die the body that my mind inhabits will rot and become fodder for something else to exist while my mind goes on.
The connection is... lack of inherent existence (not able to find an inherently existent "me" nor "I"), impermanence and mind... and none of the above have anything to do with an omnipotent creator being, which (in and of itself) is an illogical concept.

I subscribe to the "laser beam of existence" view. Of all the trillions of possible combinations of human DNA that could occur, mine actually existed. That makes all of the living the aristocracy of matter. However long or short my life is, I lived and trillions did not.

That's a great question to ask yourself. I ask it all the time. I do not however , ever assume I have the answer if I don't. Self Honesty is bliss.

actually, u might not remember it, but along long long loooooong time a go u were a person lets say in africa and now u r in lets say america. u meaning your body not your soul. so it is true that maybe one of us has met george washington or hitler before,
