I sometimes get the feeling that the existence of extreme christians and muslims is some sort of cosmic joke...

As an Aspergian, I find a lot of what "normal" people do to be irrational and ridiculous... though I have mostly got used to just ignoring it, and even understanding why they behave so oddly...
... Yet I still cannot fathom for the life of me how anyone could be so entirely in denial of reason as to accept theistic religions as any sort of truth. Afterall, how can someone who needs to put aside reason to justify their beliefs actually make any use of reason to live by (and it is an essential part of being a member of the Kingdom Animalia)?

The last remaining shred of agnosticism always plays up at such times, when I think about it... suspecting the Universe of foul play and causing me to look around for any cosmic signs of a practical joke set-up.

Afterall... I can only assume that if there were a god, it put the christians here as an example of how not to be.

what I've come to realize is people are always searching for somewher to belong....they feel the need.....Religion is convienient and so vocal it seems their logical choice...after all what does your thinking promise you.....they get to go to a place with puffy white cloudes and have their dreams come true.

Everyone that professes faith and belief in God is not a Christian. Just like everyone that says that they are good in sports is not.

Yes every "Christian" is not an example of how to be so one should be careful that they are following the behavior and life of Christ and not man. Man will lead you astray every time so following man is not what we are to do.

God is real and available to all who seek Him. Negative comments usually ensue when ever someone says that they believe in God and that is ok. I only need to be concerned what God thinks of me and not man.

We are all diferrent,so don't go classifying a whole group of people as being 1 way or thinking 1 belief.

U know, i didnt understand a word u said. but the only thing that gets me thinking is the fact that every single human being on this earth will haaaaave to die. no matter who they are. i dont know why all chritian beleive they go to heaven because jesus died for their sins. Some 86% say that they are Christians in the USA. BUT! Of those 86%, only about 14% believe that JESUS CHRIST was really, truly sinless. What else can I say; Im asking you hear to try to see things from my side for a minute and hope we can come to some agreements.

HISTORY. This is of the utmost importance. There is NO way I have the time, or the resources to show you important events that took GOD and thru the centuries; completely walked away from HIM~most certainly because of human nature; which by the way is inherently CONTRARY to the will of GOD.....people simply did not want to obey such a loving GOD. Fastforward to the birth of Jesus Christ, one of many prophesies FULFILLED. The Old Testament very clearly PREDICT with CERTAINTY the future events that culminate into THE END.
Satan, self and misfortune all play a part from time to time in HOW human beings behave. Satan is a real adversary; he hates us, and THOROUGHLY AS IF ORGASMICLY ___DELIGHTS WHEN HE BLINDS THE EYES OF THE children of the GOD WHO CREATED US. There are XIANS who are so busy being "about the Lord's work; in ministry and what have you" that they do not retain a shred of human compassion. There are other Christians who are so blind because they do not study their own scriptures, that it would take the jaws of life to pull the beam out of their eyes as they continue to hypocritically exalt themselves and abase all others. GOD sez in the Word "that My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"....well albeit TRUTH because if as many xians that watch idlely ~~~TV and movies that will not make a dent in their eternity...if that gross # would devote themselves to sanctification by the Holy Spirit, and would as follows CULTIVATE fruit worthy to cause all denominations to cease, to once again have unity in the faith as they did in THE VERY FIRST CHURCH (after JC ascended and the disciples were TOLD to wait, just wait in the upper room where they would be sent a "Comforter= the Holy Spirit".....when that occurred, all were thus baptized by the Holy Spirit to the effect of being supernaturally endued with power and EFFECTIVENESS to go out and fulfill the Great Commission: which is to spread the good news of Jesus and His salvation!)....Most Xians have dead faith, because they came into the faith with a forethought that ALL would be swell and "somehow" Jesus would remove all of their burdens~but lo and behold, O, to the CONTRARIWISE TRUTH.....the path to GOD is str8 and narrow, and few there be that find and walk on it (people not wanting to lay down there lives for the sake of Christ, not wanting to save souls by simply talking to others in a respectable manner of the Gospel)......and the path that leads to destruction is a wide road, full of people whom approach a very wide gate to accommodate them. Then there's the catholic entrance into the true followers of Christ. THEY unfortunately COMPROMISED, and thus we now have to this day the most rich, most powerful church known to mankind. They took the scriptures, changed them to Greek and made them impossible for the people to read them. Home church gatherings were punishable by death, and it all just ran amuck! We XIANS are STILL being blamed for the crusades and inquisitions....its bs.

Christians are imperfect and many have done great damage to the faith; those bad apples spoiled the bunch! AND, Jesus Himself said that the time will come when all the world will HATE YOU FOR MY NAMES' SAKE! *It is very hard to cultivate the ACTION and CHOICE to LOVE others; very difficult to forgive those who do HORRID things to us, and very challenging to set aside what we assume are our lives, when by the very own words from our lips are ":Lord, I give my life to you, take it and let YOUR will be done" in the sinners prayer and all its variation. If all Christians would JUST FOLLOW THE DANG DIRECTIONS IN THE MANUAL; ALOT WOULD CHANGE.....so, long story made short......

So, I walk on egg shells, bc I get the feeling that NO MATTER what I say; its going to just come out wrong.....but I try.....

I honestly believe that this is untrue. I do NOT think that you have much 'contentment'. What calms you when every single person in your life has betrayed you? What brings you peace; knowing that there is this "so far out there" theology that says GOD withholds HIS wrath out of compassion for those who have not accepted what GOD SWEARS IN HIS HOLINESS; that JESUS CHRIST is the only way to the Father?
