I haven't made up my mind yet.
I'm kinda coming up with my own ideas on things lately. (I can't prove them either but at least I'm THINKING about it)

If you are asking what the Bible says about it, the Bible says that God began forming (or reforming, according to some) the earth from day one.
By day 6, all was ready for Man to step onto the scene.
If you are asking about the problems with evolution, I would point out the mathematical impossibility of something as complex as the DNA molecule occuring by chance. Furthermore, the DNA molecule can NOT live outside the membrane of the nucleus of a cell, but it has been demonstrated (scientifically) that the membrane of the nucleus of the cell can NOT possibly exist without the DNA molecule within.
In other words, the one can not exist without the other, and both would need to begin their existence simultaneously.
The illogical leaps of faith required to believe in evolution astounds me! Study the DNA for yourself, such as the number of base pairs, the number of molecules, the types and lengths of each, etc, etc, and then take your old Timex watch (a simple thing in comparison), take it completely apart, put all the parts in a little baggie, put it in your clothes dryer, and let it run for several days. If you pull out your Timex watch whole, then let me know!

I have NO idea. God can create any way He wants to. THAT'S why He's God! I suspect those 6 days were 'times', though, and morning and evening some sort of allusion to a Hebrew concept. But I freely admit I could be wrong. What I AM sure of is that God knows what He's doing, while we can only guess. I wasn't there at the time. Were you?

The fundamentals of evolution are just plain ridiculous. I mean when is the last time you ever saw a half man half ape?
But if you prefer to think of that image in the mirror as apish and evolving from a pool of primordial muck that somehow randomly came together to form that beautiful person in the mirror by all means indulge your fundie evo diagnosis.

The Bible says that God created the Earth "in the beginning". It took a six-day period (which obviously was not literal, but much longer) for him to prepare the earth for habitation. Humans were created on the sixth day.

God made the heavens and the earth on the first day, not the 6th. God created every kind of animal and wildlife on the 6th day. God also created man on the 6th day. Therefore you are correct in your assumption that God did not create the earth on the 6th day. But, you are incorrect about man. Have a joyous day!

No God created everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. Earth was made on the first day, and man was made in God's image on the 6th day.

I most certainly believe it was in 6 days. Now my question to you is why not believe God created everything in 6 days?
It certainly takes, as the old folks use to say,
'a whole heap of faith',
to believe in Evolution than the Bible.

As a Bible believer, I do not believe that either.
The Bible says the earth was created on the first day, not the sixth.
Before rejecting the Bible, at least take the time to find out what it says...

You cant fool me either. My pastor asid yesterday that if I hear you people say this kind of stuff again, all I need to do is ask you a simple question - if we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?
See, we CAN fool you. dumb athiest...You cannot argue with the literal perfectness of the Bible!
