Yes, I have fed baby chicks before. So, please no preaching or links to handfeed sites. I only need experienced answers here. they are 2 weeks old. My brooder is set at 93 degrees f. is that warm enough? or is it too warm? Most of my experience is with larger birds/macaws. I also have a 6 wk old cockatiel that I am feeding right now. I give her 15 ml of formula 3 times a day. sometimes a little more because she continues to beg. I'm kinda worried that she isn't getting enough. What is the max crop capacity for 6 wk cockatiel? also, I know to fill the crop until it is full but not bursting. But, I really would feel more comfortable having a guide to go by. any informed replies are greatly appreciated. I already have the link to the site "handfeeding step by step" I am wanting to know your personal schedule, amounts, and brooder temp tips please.

Honestly, you will get the best answers for this question by joining the North American Cockatiel Society. They have a great members only board with lots of members that handfeed all the time. Here is their link: http://www.cockatiel.org/

You already have the link to the Handfeeding Step by Step site, so I won't give that again. I would follow the advice given there and give more food as needed.
