Christians think they own the world.

They forget that Yahweh/Jehovah clearly believes that there are other gods. His first commandment is that you should have no other gods before him - not that there are no other gods. In many places he is portrayed as a god who is more powerful than other gods who are named in the bible. He is also described as jealous of other gods.

God is the only living God - there is your difference.
We are all Gods children. God is the Creator - Alpha and Omega - the beginning and the end. Jesus was sent as his only begotten son as a sacrifice for our sins - he took all our sins on the cross and took our guilt, shame, disgrace, wickedness and transfered it to make a promise of everlasting life after death. He was risen eye witness and trusting God and having the faith to believe would help. These other Gods are man made and if you do the reasearch into Mohamad and the rest they are all diversions from the truth - I'd rather have the truth thanks, I want to live and have the promises of God over my life. I am a Pentecostal and I have been baptised and repented of my sins and have the holy spirit along side me - my prayers get answered. Satan is behind all alternative rituals to guide you away from THE TRUTH BECAUSE HE DOES NOT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT TO DRAG UP ALL TO HELL WITH HIM FOR ETERNAL PUNISHMENT. So I say stuff what everyone else says and search for the living God who loves us and can have a relationship with Jesus through the holy spirit. Read up about revivals in Wales and Scotland and Elim Pentecostal Church and you will read or witness miracles. Lives found and restored through accepting Jesus and your saviour - there is only ONE. All Idols and witchcraft, mediums, fauls Gods lead to death not life. The spiritual realm is real but I would be filled with the holy spirit before any other.

Because they believe their God is the only one - so if you don't do as they do, you must be rejecting the 1 and only God.

I personally believe that God is the creative energy that powers this existence and yes, all the explanations on earth about it are simply interpretations of that energy. The Hindu's express the many faces of the 1 God, not millions of gods. Pagans believe in many Gods, just as Greeks and Romans did - but this can be interpreted similarly to Hindu as the many faces of God, or the different aspects of life and existence. It's all just personfication of the energy that makes the grass grow and new hearts start beating. Even science deals with energy they do not exactly understand. They may or may not wish to call it God (for many scientists and doctors are christian), but to my mind, they are trying to understand the same thing by different means.

That does not mean that there is some consciousness in the sky that manipulates us and runs our lives. It simply means that humans have observed the phenomenon of creative energy in this existence and they strive to understand it and to feel good about it - and even use it to achieve what they want in this world.

Peace!

PS - Even Athiests have faith. Faith in an ever changing science and rational explanation for everything - even though they have not found one yet. Faith in themselves to affect their own lives for the better.

Buddhists do not believe they can become god, but rather that gods are limited beings of no particular relevance... and that to become enlightened takes one beyond the level of the gods confined to the world.

Satanists, as the term is used nowadays.... by Anton LaVey's lot.... don't believe in "Satan" at all, but just use it for symbolism to spit in the face of convention. Even the real devil-worshippers don't believe Satan to be "a god", but rather that he is the better choice to follow.

Taoists do not believe nature is god at all. Conventionally, taoism does not involve deities of any sort.... though its combination with other belief systems has brought notions of deities into it. The Tao itself is no god... Is meant to be left undescribed and deliberately vague for no description would really suit what it should actually be considered as.... (i.e. "Tao" means "way" ... and what it is shouldn't be thought of so much as where it goes).

So please.... no more of these ignorant generalisations.

religious human beings have self assurance there would nicely be no morality with out faith. notwithstanding, the same forces that are in the back of evolution (aggressive benefit) practice to morality. positioned only maximum folk have morals because there is an evolutionary benefit to society to be that way. Morals haven't any more some thing to do with faith (if it did slavery and genocide would were banned in Roman cases .. yet were condoned). for instance, homicide has continually been considered immoral because it reduces the style of hunters or childbearers or perhaps with (depending who became murdered) in a tribe. homicide of outsiders (for the period of warfare, for instance) became justified because there became a danger to safe practices of the tribe. faith on the different hand considers issues that threaten that faith to be immoral (or sins). for instance worshiping graven pictures, or putting yet another god earlier the god of the religion in question. those aren't any more sins except interior the context of preserving the religion. further regulations round questioning clergymen edicts or the teachings of the church aren't any more morality themes they're administration mechanisms. on the different hand Christianity (for instance) did not declare slavery immoral because society in at present practiced it. So, at the same time as you question would make some sense on your perception equipment, at the same time as uncovered to the person-friendly of rational argument that's nonsense. you're welcome!

I guess they are saying that since they believe the christian God is the one true god, the other religions do not have God, they may worship what they believe to be gods but they are not truly God.

If that makes any sense.

I'm a non-christian, an Atheist, and I have no god, because there is no god.

There you go. Learn something new everyday, right?

You did kinda forget Atheists there...

Satanists don't worship Satan. The worship themselves, because they are their own god. The only people who believe in Satan (the christian one) are christians.

When your religion says we are right and everyone else is wrong, then it's easy to say the other religions don't have a god. By their definition what you have is not a god but a delusion. It's called hubris.

Satanists believe that individuals are their own gods, not that there is a satan to worship...
And you forgot that Jews believe that there is one God, and that Jesus and ghosts have jack squat to do with it.
