Preferably in the following areas of Brooklyn: Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, Flatbush or on Manhattan's Lower East Side. If you know of a good one in another area you can suggest that as well. Also, why do you like that salon and which stylist should I ask for. Thanks!

There is great salon in the downtown Brooklyn area. This is the same salon I go to, its called "Sisters Unisex". They are located on Lawrence Street bet. Willoughby and Fulton Streets. On this block there are two locations I go to the orignal one. Which is the bigger salon closer to Willoughby St. I would say the best beauticians ae Ramonita (she does my hair) and Monica. They both are seated in the front of the salon.

the only one i know of in Manhattan is Salon Santa Cruz (llok them up on www.citysearch.com, great place). they're in the 20's on the east side. good place but expensive. you won't find many Dominican salons in the areas you mentioned b/c there aren't much Dominican people there. i know there are a couple in Harlem. but your best bet is the Bronx (closer to the South Bronx). i grew up there & went to a Dominican salon most of my life. there is a huge Dominican community there. Brooklyn salons are almost all African-American owned & operated. good luck.

You asked the exact question that I had (for the same areas in Brooklyn). I have not had any luck. Please let me know if you find one you like.
