I think it kind of depends if she is living at home or not. I think that at 19 she should be responsible enough to decide when she is ready to be intimate. As a soon-to-be grandma, I can understand your mom's "obsession" about your sister's sex life. My daughter is turning 20 this year and I am having a hard time accepting this "grandmother" thing. I think your mom should be extremely proud of your sister's will power to wait this long. A lot of girls are having sex and babies at 12.
If she lives at home, mom probably doesn't want sex in the house taking place between her daughter and boyfriend. House rules and such.

No it is not normal. Just because your sister has a boyfriend doesn't mean that she is having sex. Your mom needs to stop accusing her of doing so. It isn't any of your moms business, your sister is over 18 and is now an adult, she has the right to make her own choices with out your mothers input. I have been in the same situation, only it was my step dad that was accusing me and I was only 15. It made me want to prove them wrong just so when I was able to tell him how much of a dumb *ss he was.

Is there any other behavior (besides just having a boyfriend) that your mom might be seeing and by putting them all together she heavily suspects your sis is sexually active? Your mom is obviously very concerned about your sis being sexually active. It use to be that the worse part might be having to face your parents and tell them you were pregnant. Now parents are well aware that there is something worse. Your child could come home to tell you that he/she may die. If your sis has told you that there is nothing going on and you truly believe her, then pull your mom aside and tell her. But do not cover up for your sister. She is 19 and living at home, I guess. The only way to ensure her privacy is if she gets her own place.

I think it might push her into doing something that she isn't ready for. Is your mother talking to her about birth control, in case she does consider having sex. Your sister is 19 and your mother doesn't have any legal say in what she does but she does need to respect the fact that if she brought her up right, she'll do the right thing.

I think its time your sister moved into her own place?
If she already is then she needs to stand up to her mother
and tell her if she says anything more on the subject she will no longer visit.
She's an adult she needs to state that point to her mother,so she can have her own life.

You need to have this talk with your mom. My dad always accused me of it when I wasnt. Then I just said "hey if he is going to accuse me of it, i might as well!" What she is doing is wrong. Your sister is an adult and it is her own buisness.

you're mom is just concerned about your sister, but since your mom doesn't believe her, i think you should tell your mom what your sister has told you. and maybe your mom will stop harassing your sister.

Oh yeah, I'm sure that hearing your mother's nagging voice echoing in her head over and over again is really going to put her in the mood to screw her boyfriend.
