Well, he might be just irresponsible, not boyfriend material, doesn't know what a relationship means and how it should be, either teach him, open up or break up with him if you dont' wanna put up with a kid. You gotta have limits, trust me, he'll start losing respect for you completely and he won't even realize it if you let him. or maybe he's got some other crap. whatever, just fix it and have limits. Or maybe you're forcing him to come even if he has some important stuff to do than watch a game. But still balance.

Well maybe he just wants to you where you are so he can be somewhere else and knowing he won't get caught. But I would kick him to the curb. Because that's the diffence from a boy a nd a man. A man will keep his word because he know that will go far, but when a boy breaks his he all is doing is playing a gme and thinks he is cool. but you need to move on with out him.And find someone who will treat you better and be there when you need him. I can understand not been there a couple of times but not 5 times in a row.

Yes. Don't ask him to go to any more of your games. When he asks why not, tell him the truth. You thought he would only make up another excuse, and your tired of all of those. Maybe you should try to find a new boyfriend, someone who has interests in common with you and your sport..

If he can't keep a promise about something this minor, though it is important to you, what will he do when the promise is about something serious, like say fidelity? Breaking promises is not a good sign. If he doesn't want to go then he shouldn't be promising to go. He may be afraid of hurting your feelings by saying he doesn't want to go. Let him know he is hurting you more by breaking his promises. If he keeps doing it then I say let him go, he's more into himself than you.

Ya, just get a new one. I had a bf who would never go to my games.. always excuse after excuse.. turned out to be a worthless bastard.
It's nice when someone goes to cheer you expecially your dude.. but you def. need to find someone who will enjoy going to see you.

It seems to me like he doesn't take you or the relationship serious. I would talk to him first about it. Then if he still acts the same way i would get rid of him. I'm sure another guy would love to watch you

Don't do anything, stop inviting him and stop dating him. He's not committed to your events, and he's not supportive of you. You are young, why deal with drama like that now? He's not even being a good friend to you.

Dump him because he doesn't care about you. Get someone who will go to your games and cheer you and your teammates.
