wondering how i should apply this ointment medicine?

My doctor prescribed these ointments to help the ring/rash around my mouth (comes from licking my lips) I was wondering if i should apply it with q-tip, clean hands, etc.??? thanks!

Yes a Q-tip is fine as long as you don't get the medicine in your mouth.Always apply it with clean hands.Before Bed is another good time to let it soak in and work through the night.
