It depends on the church you attend. The bible does not specifically talk about "church membership". That is a term people have come up with. From my understanding of the bible, though I don't suscribe to it, jesus stated(paraphrased) "show me two people studying my word, and I show you a church".
But, each denomination carries it's own customs and policies on this matter.
I was raised Lutheran. I was not an independant member of the church until I was confirmed. Confirmation is when you become an "adult" in the eyes of the church. But, that does not apply to all denominations.

I don't know of any Bible passage that addresses your question. Joining a church requires that the person desiring membership meets that particular church's requirements. My church does not have an age limit for joining, but only members 18 years old or older can vote when there is church business that needs to be voted on.

dependant upon the religon there are levels for example as a young child you are not seen the same in some christian religons (catholism) thus the classes most young Catholics have to go to. however you are still a member of the church. In some cases some churches require a baptism into the church. However it has been a really long time since I have seen a church like that around the U.S.

You will get many different answers to this, but according to the KING JAMES VERSION of the HOLY BIBLE,there is no age.All can come to him and be members.
Some will say that you cannot be a member until you are baptised.but you could have been baptised at another church.
some people believe you may become a member when you are 8 and at the yr of your baptism.
There are so many beliefs.
It will be interesting to see what kind of answers you get.

The age of accountability. When you are accountable for your ownself, your own sins, you are mature enough to be an adult member. Otherwise you can be a member of the Sunday School class.

I would imagine it would depend on what type of member. There are voting members, and I would think it would depend on the church doctrine.

They bible states that you would come to Jesus as soon as you can. As for churches, you should join so that you can learn and fellowship with other believers.
