First: Cookies straight from the oven (hot) with melty ice cream between them. I love both plain chocolate chip cookies or Triple Chocolate, but the ice cream has to be plain chocolate (no nuts or caramel or anything like that) from Publix or Wal-Mart (store brand is sooooo good).

Second: Brownies, best are homemade dark fudgy or with Ghirardelli Chocolate... or both... yum. Firehouse has tasty brownies, then Chick-Fil-A, then Cypress Gardens, and Blimpie's are fine, too. Sometimes I even make it a brownie sundae-- top it with chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup or hot fudge sauce, and chocolate Reddi Whip. Oooooh!

Third: Chocolate cake or cupcakes. Homemade is wonderful, with choclolate icing. Publix makes lovely ones that taste so good with their airbrushed color. Wal-Mart has some really decadent ones with chocolate icing of different sorts (variety city). A little place I know called Piece of Cake also makes some really delicious ones. Add a scoop of chocolate ice cream to any of those and I'm in heaven!

Fourth: my relatives in Alabama make the best pound cake-- a sour cream pound cake. I have the same recipe, but it never turns out as good. :(

Fifth: my aunt in Alabama didn't have any vanilla wafers when she made banana pudding, so she substituted graham crackers, which turned out so much better than the normal way.

Surprised I don't weigh 500 lbs? Me, too!!!

My favorite dessert is something the New Zealanders and Aussies have been arguing over for centuries now. It is called pavlova. It has a nougat shell/crust with soft nougat inside of it. You top it with whipped cream and fruit/chocolate. It is the most delectable thing to eat, but the instructions for making it are difficult if you do not have baking skills.

Hmm..... I love cheescake, and I love apple pie, I love carrot cake, and I love any kind of home made chocolate cake or brownies. Want to go a little more sophisticated? Then I'd add that I love creme brule, or flan, or chocolate souflee. I love making chocolate souflee at home. My mom makes the best chocolate mousse. I don't eat dessert on a regular basis at home, but I love to get it when I go out.

I love real key lime pie. But sometimes there is nothing better after a meal than a piece of chocolate cake. I also love strawberry pie.
