this guy is sort of an ex, although our relationship was more casual than anything. So long story short, I saw him for over a year, he moved back home for a job about 6 months ago, we left as friends, but I still had(have) feelings for him. we keep in contact every so often but I was more of the one to call or email. He had told me that he met a girl, she was his gf, but then took a break & just recently emailed me back & said that he had gotten back together, because I asked him. We had also been planning a trip to Colorado before, just as friends, which he was enthused about but then in the same email, he said he was invited to go hunting w/a hunting guide somewhere else. Which was fine because that's what he was planning on doing in Colorado. So..last Friday we left on a good note, I emailed him back w/a postive email & wanted to leave it at that. BUT on Saturday I had a lil too much to drink & called him @ 2 am, crying, telling him that I missed him & now I feel ashamed. So..

So..I'm writing him this email back, tell me if it's good or not, or if I should even email him this. I want to leave it on terms of being happy, not sobbing acting like an idiot.

Lol, we've all done it. The worst thing you could do would be to ignore it, cos then you'd just cringe everytime you think about him. Take the bull by the horns, email and say what a complete tit you feel for calling him when you were drunk and how you don't remember much. Say you know you must have been annoying cos you called all your friends crying about how much you love them and now you're having to go through them all apologising. Play it down and make light of it without protesting too much, then in years to come when you're over him you'll look back and know you came out of it with self respect intact. If you leave it now then you'll always remember him as the one who you made a fool of with. By the way, I think it's perfectly normal and know that me and every one of my friends have done the same at some point in our lives!!!!!!

A drunk man or woman speak a sober woman's mind. Be honest and tell him your feelings. Honesty is hard but it is always best. Don't be embarassed. You were very sad and loved this gentleman. At least its out there. Take heart, things will happen as they were meant to happen.

I have always said they should have breathalyzers on cell phones!

drunken booty calls never turn out ok.

just tell him you had a few drinks, and you got alittle emotional, tell him you feel embarassed, he'll probably understand.

and wats done is done, so dont try to "fix" anything, just explain it and decide where you want to go from there.
