I celebrate Christmas so I can get the biggest, best present ever.
But you haven't given it to me yet.

Not an Agnostic or a Christian but I celebrate Christmas. Not as the birth of a savior, just as a winter holiday. I love putting up a tree and lights and giving people gifts.
I celebrate Easter as well with bunnies, chicks and eggs - all symbols of spring rebirth. Nothing religious about either holiday to me.

Not christian here, but no reason for us to miss out on the fun!
We celebrate a "winter holiday" for lack of a better term.
We EMBRACE the commercialization of the holiday. We ignore the made-up christian parts. We also ignore the commercials telling us that is when we're supposed to hang with extended family. We can do that all year, don't need a special day.
We decorate and have a tree, but skip the nativity stuff. We exchange gifts, but not on Dec. 25th. Just whenever we're done buying and feel like it. Last year, it was Dec. 11th.
Christians took other holidays and perverted them into whatever suited them best, and I have no qualms about doing the same.

You can't find much relating to Christmas in the Bible, considering the stories take place in the desert.
Christmas is a patchwork of pagan and secular mid-winter festivals from Europe.
Not desert festivals from the Middle East.

Yes, I celebrate Christmas for my own reasons. It's a time when my family and friends get together and have a great time.

I, for one, celebrate Christmas and certainly don't need a savior.
