when things get too one sided, they fall apart - - this time next year that person will probably not be your friend.. I know for myself - I do things for myself - I do not need any favors - I will certainly do some for friends, but I will not be used as a crutch.. time to move on?

Stop doing favors for her. Offer her the same excuses she offers you when you do favors for her. She'll probably go away and find someone else to take advantage of.

Love her/him anyway and if you can continue to do the favors without feeling angry than do so, or if it doesn't cause to much disruption to your life (you're going to that store anyhow, etc). Otherwise start saying no once in a while.

You could say jokingly, OK, so remember I did so and so for you last week? Well now it's your turn to do me a favour! Could you xxxxx [whatever it is].
This turns the tables on her but in a jokey way. It may be that she's jump at the chance to do something for you - maybe she didn't realise there were things you wanted doing

Keep this phrase handy, "I'd really love to, but I can't." They'll get the message.
