it takes a world of faith, belief,honesty,and definitely patience and understanding..but.. make sure there is a meeting time and date established..

Definitely honesty. Keep the person in the loop - they want to be as much of a part of your life as they can so far away. Also - intimacy is a hard thing to establish - so keep up the romantic surprises, or even kinky phone calls...anything -- Trust me, I'm an expert at long distance - lol - my Boyfriend is in Iraq

no easy solution. it's up to the people. you both have to be committed to making it work, by spending the time travelling & on the phone. if you both want it work it can. and eventually, you'll have to decide who will move to be with the other. but they do work out. a lot of them do.

they never work out. see when i was 15 and Matt my soon to be husband was 16 he had a girlfriend that lived in new jersey and he lives out here in California. when he stared to go out with me he had to break up with the other girl. if you have a long distance relationship its going to end because your going to find someone else. someone you can be with and talk to any time
