I believe they meet every wednesday evening at the local Olive Garden to worship the pasta, and it's only begotten son, the all you can eat salad.
Seriously, is there any better salad than the one at Olive Garden? All hail the mighty All You Can Eat Salad.

Pastafarianism is the belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster as the creator and designer of the universe. It is a parody religion started by a university grad named, I believe, Bobby Henderson. He began this "religion" after his state passed legislation requiring the teaching of intelligent design alongside evolution.
Basically he was making a joke of the legal proceedings to allow intelligent design in the classroom. The FSM theory caught on as a joke at college campuses and has become quite popular with atheists and agnostics as a way to parody the Judeo-Christian God.
I would check it out on wikipedia if I were you. I'm sure they have something on it.

Pastafarian refers to the made up religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. This religion was created to demonstrate certain fallacies in the Kansas State Board of Education case on ID. It has since taken off as a parody religion.

Pastafarians are the followers of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or FSM. They believe that life on earth began when man was touched by the FSM's "noodley appendage".. It is a swipe on creationism. Google Flying Spagehetti Monster for more info.

It's just a joke. Some claim to believe in the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" (pasta, get it?) as a counter to all these Christians saying we need to believe in God and Jesus. Some Christians will quote the Bible and expect us atheists to just say, "Oh! How foolish I've been!" So the "Pastafarians" will start in and say that we need to believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster to be saved.
When some Christian quotes scripture here on the R&S board as an argument, I just take the references to God and change it to Odin. It proves just as much as their scripture did.
