this is definetly a sticky situation you got on your hands here.
4 one I don't think anybody can help who they fall 4 some times the mind and the heart has its own plan.
Your'e not betraying any one by liking him, that is unless your best friend is liking this guy in return, feel me?
The real ? you should b askin yourself is are you ready to put your self in the position of being potentially at risk 4 being hurt. Because depending on how deep his feelings go 4 ur best friend, he might not have eyes 4 another girl. Or if your best friend isn't feeling him and he's not the type to chase or wait 4 a girl, if you tell him how you feel what would that make you. A rebound girl in my opinon, he wanted your best friend but since he couldn't have her, he settled 4 the next best thing
Your'e probably a beautiful person, and beautiful people shouldn't have 2 go out like that. Don't set ur self up 4 disapointment, just take a good look at his butt once in a while and move on........wouldnt want you to get hurt
Whatever you choose 2 do good luck!!!!

There's too little information here so -
1. I don't believe in "should". You do what you believe is best for all concerned.
2. You don't say if your best friend likes him?
3. You don't give your evidence that he likes your best friend.
4. Maybe if you chat with this guy you might find something in common.
5. You may just be infatuated with this person which may not be a good thing for you.
You work it out but I do know that there are not that many "fish in the sea" as they say who may be good for you. If you talk to your friend and she does prove to be a friend she may well help you decide.

1. It's not just about what you like, it's also about what or whom he likes. If he likes your friend you should respect his decision.
2. It's also about respect toward your friend. Treat others the way you want to be treated: How would you feel if someone likes you but your best Friend would be hitting on him?
3. In most cases your friendship is more precious than the guy, because you are still young and the likelihood is that one day your relationship with the guy is over whilst you still want to and can have your friendship.

I don't know, but If he likes her and you like him, he's not gonna see you b/c he's so obsessed with your friend. I went through this with my best friend and my other friend. She told him that she liked him before I got the chance and now shes got him. So if you really like him, go for it. But please don't get your hopes up. If you do, you will get hurt... It's only a matter of time before he will break your heart. Be careful.

Unfortunately, yes. It's not that he doesn't like you, it's just that he's more interested with your friend. As a friend, you shouldn't try any action that will make you look like you're stealing him from your best friend.

yes because once you date and you break up things will never be the same again. He will always have cold look on his face, and will never treat you the same again. Live is better when you keep being friends with your crush than when you date him, and you go from beings friends to lovers.
This happened to me, and now I have lost his friendship forever, and youve heard this before, never date your best friend, because things will never be the same again.
I learned my lesson, I hope you do not do this and get your self hurt.

Don't compete with your best friend.
Chances are, you'll have your best friend if they don't work out.
Compete and you'll run the risk of losing all around.
Be happy your friend has this attention...and show it.

push her off a building.
no only kidding. well, this situation sucks. i think you should let him get over your best friend, then sort things out from there. do you know how long hes liked your best friend??
cause if its a little while, thats better.
but a long time? woah. likely he'll never get over it.
