I am buying a puppy, and there's one I like but it has floppy ears...she's two months old, and this is important as I do plan on breeding her in the future. Anyone out there has lots of experience with the breed and knows if they should be erect by now? I haven't seen any other pom puppies like this...people selling it say they will stand eventually, but then, they are just breeding from their pet dog, they are not professional breeders

I have some pomeranians and their ears were floppy but it takes time. We took them to the vet and the vet eventually figured out that they got ear mites from their mother and their ears were eventually taped (dosent harm them at all) the ears were taped up for about 2 wees and they stood up after that if you do have any doubt you can always consult your vet.

Please find attached some links concerning the breed, about care and other information that you might need.

good luck with your new puppy if you do decide to take it
