A metrosexual will take things too far. He acts like a female when it comes to pampering himself and getting clothes. A well-dressed "stud" is a man who doesn't just throw on clothes in the morning, he has a natural fashion sense and thinks a little before he puts things together.

Hmm...That's hard to pull off.

Well-dressed:
You at least LOOK clean: you don't have stains on your clothes, you're at least working on getting rid of acne, your fingernails are clipped and free of dirt, you've showered and you don't smell.
Your clothes should fit properly and they shouldn't be TOO distasteful or say anything stupid or inappropriate on them. You shouldn't look like your mom dressed you, but you shouldn't try too hard to look "slick," or whatever.
Your hair is neat-looking. That doesn't mean all crunchy and shiny from gel; that means it's not sticking up all over the place.

Metrosexual:
You smell strongly of cologne. Like REALLY.
You're wearing designer clothing, stuff matches a little too well.
You put a lot of gel in your hair and it looks like you spent forever on it.

Some guys can pull the metrosexual thing off and still look manly and hot, but....it's hard XD.

a well dressed stud doesnt leave the house in basketball shorts and a t-shirt. he takes the time to acually put together a decent outfit. the clothes are not dirty and are not takey and gross.
a metrosexual spends his day in the mall and has a closet full of designer jeans. he most likely shaves his legs and talks with a funny accent that you can tell is compleatly made up. not that its bad or anything.

or wait, is this a joke...

im not a lady, but i can tell you something about "metrosexuals". A) its another loophole for pretending to be gay without being called "gay". B) its not another species, society, genre, cohort, etc. It doesn't exist. Its a term for not wanting to come out of the closet.

If you're shaving your legs, shaving your armpits, waxing your brows, sitting with your legs crossed (like a woman), have a funny lisp and heighten your voice when you speak. If you're comfortable wearing flip-flops outside in short-shorts after your weekly pedicure & polish and would rather be in the bathroom of the gym as opposed to working out in the gym...you're gay. not a metro-whatever, not a hetero-whatever...gay. if you consistently cross that line to fall into the category of flaboyant but not so gay, then you already have your answer. hope this helps.

non-homophobe.

It's not in how you dress, but in who you allow to undress you.
