This guy that goes to the same gym as me wrote sent me a message saying it is really hard to talk at the gym and he always feels like he smells after working out. Over the weekend one of my guy friends said I completely missed what that comment meant. He said the guy left it open ended for me to suggest going somewhere else and probably feels like I blew him off. Did I mess up?

No. I don't think you've messed up at all. Don't call him, but now that he's made a move, just be extra friendly to him when you see him. If you're friendlier than before, then he'll know that you liked that he made a move and he'll make another. Don't call him and don't ask him out since he's obvious;y going to if you show him that you like him too and reward his move by being extra nice. Next time you see him smile and talk to him. Believe me, guys don't need a huge hint. That wil do it. The biggest move for you IF he doesn't bring up going out, would be to ask him what he's doing the next weekend, WITHOUT asking him out. Make it like you're just making conversation. He'll ask you out then TRUST me. Subtle women are much more attractive than ones who jump at any hint of a possible date.
