Its sweet, because it shows that you arent afraid of showing your feelings. But I would recommend for you to do it infront of both your families, that way you show her that you arent afraid of showing your love to her infront of family!

For a girl proposing in public is nice, but it depends on the person. If she doesn't talk when you are out in public, then it would probably be safer to ask at home, or somewhere away from people. If you can, try to tae her to her favorite place. Just make sure you are ready for the commitment and that you are doing whats best for the both of you.

I think its sweet but it depends on her personality. If she is shy, she would probably prefer somewhere more intimate, in a romantic place that just involves the two of you. Other than that, I would say a public place is sweet. Good luck!
Why would there be pressure for her? If you don't think she'll say yes then don't ask.

have someone else close to both of u bring up the subject without u being present at the time. then u will know for sure . public proposals are hard for people to say no, u don't want to pressure her into saying yes and paying for it later. good luck.

In my opinion I think it's very sweet cause that would let me know that you want the whole world to know that you love the girl and want to marry her. My husband proposed to me in a fancy restaurant and everyone started to clap when I said "yes"!
If you haven't talk to your girlfriend about getting married and you just pop the question it might make her nervous and pressured.

I that it's sweet to go public. Don't do it private unless you feel like your afraid of getting a no in public. But if you love her who cares if she feels pressured.

If she's the type who likes the drama, then maybe it's ok. However, be sure that both of you are on good terms. Don't make a public display if you believe there's a possibility that she will say no and make you look like an idiot.
