It's simply a fact that no one is perfect. I'm sure that if any said they were, you would criticize them for that, saying that this is impossible, everyone makes mistakes.
'Excuse' means you're trying to justify what you do, it doesn't mean that you must be perfect, or make mistakes without admitting to them. Admitting to having faults is called 'humility'.
God already knows the answer. HE tells us that none of are perfect. There's no reason for God to ask a question, the answer to which He already knows. And agreeing with God can hardly be disagreeable to God.
Here's an example of hate: A Christian man's daughter is raped, tortured, and murdered. That man may hate the murderer. He may even hate God. He is wrong, but who among us can claim to be any better, either with or without God. God does not punish him for his hate, but God does want him to get over it. Maybe he will get over his hate, though, and only then will he have peace again.

Being human is not an excuse. It's an explaination.
Considering that God created us, imperfections and all, yes-I think that God would accept that answer-not that I claim to know the mind of God.
I wonder why so many people are so down on Christians? Why do you feel threatened by us? I don't know any Christians that are forcing others to believe the way we do. I really don't understand why those who have no faith are so very troubled by those of us who do.

Of course we are not perfect that is why God does not ask us to do anything impossible--everything we are supposed to do is in our ability. That doesn't make it easy but if we mess up once we are forgiven if we repent. Just saying we are not perfect and not trying is not enough. There are government laws and we all obey them...once in a while we might break a few but we do not keep doing it in fear of punishment. When someone is arrested, no one says "we are only human, we are not perfect" so why use that excuse for God? We are capable but its a matter of whether what is more important to you and if you are willing or not. I didn't get much sleep last night sorry if this makes no sense

It should not be used as an excuse for premeditated open rebellion or hedonism. On the other hand it is good to keep that in mind when we become aware of our faults. It is also a good reason for humility. We must be aware that we are never perfect and should therefore always be seeking self-improvement and greater knowledge. So when we are making excuses we are only fooling ourselves, not God. When we are maintaining a reasonable balance and remembering our humility we can grow. Peace

We are not perfect but the goal is to get better through trial and error.
That is peoples excuse to be bad. WE ARE NOT PERFECT.
Obeying the basic commandments is far from perfect just to let all you people know.
God is not going to accept that answer. He loves us all but are actions define are character. We are the choices we make. It is up to us to seek God out and find the religion that works for us best to adhear to the commandents.
We determine are level of glory through, faith, repentance, acts, charity and love.
I think that if most people actually picked up a book and read about the blessings and tried and felt the blessings of being good that they would.
But most will not even grasp initial FAITH in our lord and there is no excuse for that. ]
The goal of life is not to party all the time but to gain knowledge and learn from good and evil and to determine where we stand. There are good and clean ways to have fun while adhearing to the commandments.

To say we are all humans is not an excuse. We have the ability to chose right from wrong. We have the ability to do good over evil. Jesus was tempted by Satan on the mount, yet resisted, we are to be Christ-like and resist evil temptings, and therefore that tell me that yes if we tried harder, and sacrificed more of ourselves then yes we could be perfect human beings. One man did it and he was in his earthy stance human by all ways, so why cant we? To use the excuse we are only human is to cop-out.

God will not accept that answer. Out of all commandments the greatest one is to love. You may hate the sin but you have to love the person. When you think about it, it's not a hard thing to do. Jesus loved us so much that He died on the cross while we were still unworthy. God does not love us because we love Him He loved us first. That's how love is spread someone has to show love first. Although we struggle with sin daily we have the Holy Spirit to keep us on the right path.

He wouldn't.
God does not put more on us than what we can bear. He knows the very formation of us, and knows that we are dust.
He knows we are not perfect. But would not accept an excuse to do what he says not to. He knows we are capable of TRYING too love our neighbors. God can read the heart. So he knows!

God sacrificed his only son for our sins. God knows we are not perfect. However using that for an excuse is an abomination. We are supposed to try to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, not use his dying on the cross for us to excuse our behavior.

in case you're inquiring for forgiveness, you're asserting which you will not enable it ensue lower back. And if it is so, you're forgiven. it rather is not considerable the sin, in basic terms which you know it, and could exchange. i'm to not familiar with the "Sinner's Prayer" yet any prayer might do. God likes to hearken to you're prayers from the midsection, not what you're instructed to declare :]
