for example there are all these crazy kids on ritalin when half of them dont need it (my brother just got taken off it when he "forgot" to take it for a month and nobody noticed). meanwhile there are many adults going around completely insane and nobody is helping them.

Someone stated that this is an issue for "Socialist Democrats." I beg to differ! This is a national problem--never before in American history has so many citizens dealt with the problems like depression, addiction, obesity, and mental illness on this scale.
As a Nation, we need socialized Medicine--our societal ills are by nature-a result of our conditioning. No one cares---in the `50's the desire to help, became the desire to write prescriptions. The "Drug" companies and "Oil" companies run this country. The Pharmaceutical industry isn't far behind. Let's just write a script and put them in the street. We must find a way to Nationalize Health Care.
The damn "Conservatives" divert our attention from social concerns--while leading us to war against our former puppets--each week a new scandal--while more people become homeless--that's enough to drive anyone of compassion crazy.

The people who really are seriously mentally ill are almost always homeless on the streets of our cities. Seriously. They threw all these people out of the institutions. We used to have one in our town and its an empty building now.

Everyone else -- we just make sure we label them with something so they'll buy drugs. I'm sorry, but in most cases even "depression" is not a mental illness, its you feeling sorry for yourself.

That would be a job for the socialist Democrats who are poised to take control over the country in the next Presidential election. Socialism will creep in, personal freedom and liberty will be kicked out.

The government is not our mommy.
