I just started talking to this guy who is a bit older than me but I really enjoy his company and talking to him. He seems like he is ready to settle down which is what I am ready for as well. The only thing I have a problem with is that we talked on the phone for about two hours last night and he did seem to talk about the relationship he just recently got out of. Is that becaus he just got out of it or is it b/c he is not completely over her? He also wanted to talk about what happened with me and my ex b/c before when we met, a few months ago, I was with someone as well. We have a date tomorrow night to watch a movie at his house, is there anything I should try to do? I am really into him and think I should try it out. I am just afraid he may not be over his ex and then him and I get involved and then the ex comes back into the picture. . . . what should I do???

You might want to hold off for now and developing your relationship to become more close and exclusive. He may still be having a hard time with the loss of the other girl. He may need more time, to "get over it" as you say. Taking things slowly for now can give you both some time: him to get over her, and you to really determine if he is who you want to be with.

Well go to his house on the date and after dinner is a good time to find out if he is over her or not. Tell him how you feel and ask him all kinds of questions. ANd if he gets too defensive when you askk about his ex, that will tell you he isn't over her yet. But give him a chance and talk with him and try to make these date about knowing each other and then go from there.

Go slow. He is in transition. If he can't move past his ex to focus on you, then either tell him that you'd like some attention or tell him that you like him as a friend. Something WILL happen at that point.

Take time to let your relationship develop. Give yourselves a chance to be over any previous relationships.

wtf, you want him to tell you about his last relationship? Why not ask him to cut his throat as well!

PS: Stop thinking to hard...Just go with the flow
PPS: Stop judging him on things he has not done yet
PPSS: Stop Judging him on things he may never do!
