Well, how new is she, because if it has only been a week or two, then thats pretty normal. In the first couple of weeks both people are kinda judging each other and discovering their own limits. Although, if this has been going on for a month or two, you should have a one on one private conversation to see what is really going on.

I think that you should try telling her she is beautiful. Then try just giving a her a simple hug and kiss nothing spectacular. If she shy's away it's possible that your affection may not be what she's looking for. Do yourself a favor and ask her what can you do to keep her from shying away.

Are you doing what she wants?? Their's different ways to display affection. You can hold hands, hug, wrap your arms around her. And pretty much give her the attention she deserves.

i think your interpertation of affection muct be different that her, just a smile, holding hands, calling for no reason, thats affection, not sure what u were doing that made her shy away
