I'm glad they're struggling.Crappy plastic little sh!tboxes,I don't know how people drive that crap.As for NASCAR and their new manufacturer,I understand why they had to let them in.Just because they're making them here doesn't make them an american car. They are a jap company.SCREW'EM.

There's not even a Toyota in the TOP-35 owner points. I expected Toyota to stink it up a little this year, but not like this! I'm in shock how bad their doing. Look for this to change before the end of the year, or Toyota's stay in NASCAR could be short lived. If no cars are making races.. Then why would they stick around?!

I think Toyota has a long uphill climb before getting any success. Michael Waltrip Racing isnt funded like the "big boys" (Roush, Hendrick, RCR), and has had trouble even qualfiying for races (Mikey is constantly on the bubble, and Dale Jarrett is having to use his "past champion" provisionals just to make the field). It'll take some time for Toyota to start making waves. Remember, they didn't dominate the Truck Series overnight.

Not being a big Toyota fan it does not bother me,but being a race fan there is still a long way togo.
The big thing for Toyota will be to have all the teams qualify. But til then any that finish a race is a victory.
That's all I have to say about that.

Seriously... Does anyone have to ask? I mean I doubt that MWR will be their next year, I doubt that Toyota will be their next year.. I just don't think that their performances are going to make the investment worth while. I mean seriously on a few of the drivers are qualifying consistently and everything and its just not worth it.. Everyone knew that the team would struggle and I think that they expected that but I think they all didn't consider this was going to happen so I think they have a really long road ahead of them..

Not only does Toyota suck, but they just don't belong. What's next Honda? Nissan? Is NASCAR going to start encouraging "drifting" around the entire track. It's just a shame....a crying shame!

well Toyota teams haven had the best start to the season but I have heard that Toyota is taking over building cars for MW and BDR. THere going to take a car from each team test them and then rebuild the car to see if they can fix the problems the teams are having and if they do then they are just going to build the cars and lease them to BDR and MWR. Toyota also plans on giving its teams more money for testing and RD.

I've finally figured it out, in the Craftsmen truck series the reason why Toyota is so good in that series is that Toyota is running the same engine package as all of the other Craftmann truck manufactures, but in the Bush and Nextel series Toyota is running a different engine package.

It will take time for them to get there. They have to learn everything. Brian Vickers did post one nice finish. They also don't have the best drivers racing them. Jarrett and Waltrip are getting old. Some people don't like them but I do!! hey if Chevy's and Fords and Dodges are built in other countries and Toyota's the only one built here why not add them in?? Who cares if their not doing good anyway??

Toyota has been a failure for years. They have to advertise like crazy and make hokes to get people to buy them. Toyota has experts give the teams advise on how to drive the car.
