You should always have proper balance. Right foot behind. Usually on the balls of your feet, able to swivel and move in and out. Never forget to turn over your punches so the palm is facing you as it is retracted. Remember, the more you "sit down" on your punches, the more powerful, if you use torque, they will be. That said ,pull in your hips, and up, and pull in and up your shoulders when firing the uppercut. Never lean forward, but slightly back. Lift, speed, torque...The exact stance varies with the fighter. Keep training!!!
