would like a link to other tables of garbage "breakdowns" and the impact on the environment

It depends on were it is placed. we aren't up to our necks in them. the filter last about 2 years but add sun light, foot traffic, rain, ect and you could say 10 months.
Lab data is fine but the really world is... well hard!
The roof over your head will only last 30 to 50 years.
Go and look in the areas were garbage is trap in the really world, all packages have dates on right. see how they are holding up to the elements in your part of the world.

I believe it takes hundreds of years from what i have been told but dont quote me on that. And if that is correct it sux. Ever walk down a street the sides are covered with butts

the plastic with it may start to degrade within 60 years but who knows with all the chemicals it contains its very difficult to predict

not very long they are bio-degradable do home experiment and see ....
