Well, I was wondering which areas hurt the most to get a tattoo at and I dont wanna get something that I will regret for the rest of my life. I was thinking about getting a butterfly on the top right of my back or a cherry tattoo above my lower left abdomen. Are any of these ideas regretfull??

In my opinion in is very important to get a tat that symbolizes something in your life. For example, I have a compass that symbolizes where I am in my life. I might not know where I am going, but I know that I will always have people around to guide me. Maybe you should try to think about something that could have a special meaning instead of something that you think might be cute.

I only have one now and its a chinese symbol...its placed on my lower right side right above my jeans...it hurt but it was nothing i couldnt handle...it also depends where you get it...bony areas hurt more than fleshy areas!

honestly, cherries and butterflies are cute...maybe too cute...

I would stick to something classic [stars, moon, zodiac etc] Those never go out of style also talk with your artist about what style they do best...ask them to draw something out for you in the style you want...they are super friendly and super flexible so dont worry!

My friend designed a letter "C" in old english with vines that i am going to get as my second one on my upper left shoulder blade...i KNOW thats going to hurt...but nothing i cant handle

Dont worry either! pick at tattoo design about 4+ months in advance and see if you change your mind...if you do, dont tattoo!

But good luck!

I lthink the butterfly on the abdomen would be better because, it would be so cute, but even better with a belly ring. I like the cherries too, but butterflies are just so cute.

I would say that if you get a tattoo right now you would like it but think about what you will do when your an elder woman...would you want your grandkids wanting to get a tattoo because there grandmother has one? if you want my perspective on this i would have to say that it is very regretful! trust me.

They seem kind of cliche, but it's your body, so no one can tell you if you're going to regret it later. And about the hurting, it does hurt, but nothing you can't bare.
Good luck.
