No a driving license will do if its only from the mainland

Definitely not, I'm from England and have lived in Belfast for 19 years, I never take my passport, Northern Ireland is part of the UK. You do need photo id as you would on any domestic flight.

No you don't. A former colleague was from Belfast, he was NEVER asked to produce a passport or any other form of ID when going home (and neither was his English Born Girlfriend).

No you don't need a passport just a form of id with a photo on will be sufficient. ( driving license)

yes you do need apassport when flying to belfast i was refused when i turned up without mine.
