1) As little as possible. I only go there if I absolutely have to.

2) For the most part yes, but the place stresses me out. It's too chaotic.

3) I don't think addicted but perhaps forced to go because in small towns wally world has killed the ma and pa places with their cheap prices (and cheap crap...)

Walmart is smart though. It's not the rich people that make you rich; it's the poor people who spend to much who make you rich. They've targeted the perfect customer.

Well I call it Wally World and so does everyone I know. lol My average time spent in one is usually and hour even though I hate it! (always to many people in there I'm FL) NO! They don't always have what I need, our stores tend to not have the best employees so the shelves aren't always stocked as they should be. OMG yes I think lots of people are addicted to it. Ours have sitting benches through out so people think it's a mall. They go hang out on a bench and people watch, when they get bored. LOL

I usually am up at the WalMart on average, 3x a week. I'd say I'm in there a good hour and a half (it's a SuperCenter). Do they ALWAYS have what I need? No, not always. But, it's the most convienent place to get everything, esp. because we live in a more rural area.

Are people addicted to WalMart? LOL... I'm sure there are but I think it becomes more of a habit to go there, esp. if it's the SuperCenter - one stop shopping.

Where else can I get ammo, toothpaste, some new shoes, a houseplant and a gallon of milk, all under the same roof???!!?!!

Average time there--45mins. They always have what I need, unless I am being especially picky (Once, I couldn't find the particular brand of vacuum I was looking for, even though they carry it--I checked for it twice and then got another vacuum.)

I can see how it could become the routine or hangout for people, but not for people who live here--there is too much else to do. EVERY time I visit after 9:00 though, I have a story to tell. Someone is getting arrested for shoplifting, having a raucous argument or something. The worst/funniest was the guy who flashed a bunch of money (with an indecent offer) to a teenage girl, who started crying to her mother thirty feet away. I wish you could have heard what the mom said to that guy!

1) 0 minutes 0 seconds, I don't go there anymore
2) When I did go there, there were a lot of empty shelves and for a purpose, the bonus for the store manager goes up based on the amount of inventory they have on hand (the less the better)
3) Many people are addicted to shopping there, so many things to choose for such a low price

I only go once every two weeks, and I do all of my grocery shopping and household shopping for the next two weeks, so I tend to spend quite a bit of time there. I usually go on Friday afternoons, after lunch and it takes about 90 minutes. Most generally they have what I need, although there have been times when they haven't. this is usually for seasonal items though, ie halloween costumes, christmas decorations etc. I don't know about addicted, but it is my fave place to do my household shopping!
