Since i met someone he seems to be trying to find a GF now. When he told me that i know what he likes, i commented with "if i didnt make the cut, who could" and his response was " beceause im a retard". Do you think he regrets it? losing me that is.

Just because your relationship did not go liked you hoped it would does not mean that there is not some sort of wondering about what could have been.
