A friend of mine was granted green card from a foreign country before she got married. After two years, she went back and got married thinking that they would proceed to the US for the honey moon. Due time and jobs in America, she decided to leave the husband behind to go to the embassy and apply for visa but alas, The man was humiliated and was lectured to at the embassy and told to tell his wife to appeal for him and the appeal will take five years. They asked him why never married a native who had nothing to do with America. surely, is this ethical or fair to anybody regardless of nationality? I think America is promoting same sex marriage and advocating the extinction of family unit consisting of man and wife. This guy has gone to the embassy twice last being last week when he was told that he was wasting their time for he will never even visit American if not with an immigrant visa and not visiting visa as he waits for immigrant one.Their case was approved but even then...God!!!

The wait for a Green Card holder to petition a spouse is 5 years. There's a quota and when it's full no more are given out for each year. This guy should consider himself lucky, some petitions take as long as 23 years.

With all the fake marriages i say they were doing their job by asking questions . And apparently if Americans are not politically correct and trying to save the world , and kissing every ones rear ends were no good . Meanwhile these people make no complaints about their home lands, make no complaints ,or demands of them .Dude its old and we are sick of it !
