check with your ob/gyn because you may have rosacea. it sometimes happens with pregnancy. anyhow, he may prescribe metrogel, it's metronidazole 0.75% gel. it's safe to use in pregnancy but needs to be prescribed. good luck!

I dont know if you can use this while pregnant but the best thing for acne is benzoyl peroxide. I use the Power Pads and there is a wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide now.
You are probably producing a lot more facial oil and it gets in the pores with bacteria and voila - acne.
Wash your face several times a day to keep the bacteria off.
I have acne and I am 42, its just a condition I have never outgrown and I also use antibacterial soap on my face.

There isn't much you can do besides the normal routine.. In fact it is harder to treat acne while you are pregnant because there are a lot of prescription meds you can't use..
It is just hormones honey.. it will go away..
Good luck..

consult ur doctor. during pregnancy pls avoid unnecessary tensions for simple things.
put milk and turmeric powder and massage ur face once in a week ie on sundays. ie enough. After the pregnancy u can do whatever u want. Always keep smiling. This makes ur child smile and be happy.

I use clean and clear or nuetrogena for oily skin. They have helped me. Don't fret though, it will be over sooner than you think,

whatever you do, don't use proactiv. caused my friend's miscarriage due to some ingredient in it. use neutrogena, basic, simple, or any other almost additive free cleanser.
