I'm 14 and I really want to lose weight. I'm 5"9" and I weigh 13.5 stone! I'm not happy with this weight so I tried eating all the right foods but I found that I put some weight on instead of off... Please help me.

I don't drink coke... not a lover of it! Most of the time water or orange juice.

Hi this happend to me, I dont pig out on junk food but it seems the mor healthier i eat the more I put on weight.
All you have to do is cut donw on your protion size and in a week you will have lost a few pounds, I went to weight watchers and thisis basically all that is. Portion control and weighing foods out. Give your self a smaller plate, and when snacking have something like a kit kat or apple. Something light and has low saturated fat in. Or you can always join weight watchers as then you know you are doing it properly anyone can join if there over weight or slightly over weight or if you want to loose a few pounds. You dont need to be embarassed as everyone there is there for the same reason and you not the only one there. Ifs all about self control
You arent massivly over weight. But if you will fell better for losing some then try.
Pick a day to do your diet, then in the morning of that day weigh yourself. Write what type of clothes you have on, and then do the diet for a week and then on the 7th day, put on then exact same clothes weight your self in the morning and then see how many pounds you have lost/ Write these down so they you know how many you have lost then add next times on. You wont lose loads about 1-2lbs a week but this is healthy and in 2 months you would have lost a stone which will go really quick. Trust me Ive done it.

Firstly, orange juice from a carton has sugar and alot of calories so that won't have helped.

You are probably eating too much still. It's not just what you eat, it's how much.

Only eat when you are genuinely hungry and don't eat more then a one person's serving.

If you eat three healthy, low fat and calorie meals a day and maybe 2 portions of fruit (to snack on) then you will loose weight. Don't eat white bread or anything fried & don't eat after 6PM.

Put some exercise into your daily routine - even if it's just a half hour walk.

If you stick to this you will loose weight, my cousin was your age when she lost a HUGE amount, very quickly through what I have told you. Be patient and whatever you do - don't starve yourself.

At your height 13.5 stone doesn't sound too bad, but really you shouldn't worry about your weight as you are still growing. Lots of people loose weight as they get older. If you are eating healthy and you weight doesn't change then perhaps you need to be a bit more active. I lost 5 stone by eating healthily (with the help of Weight Watchers) and exercise. I started out by walking for half an hour a day, and then I progressed to doing aerobics and running. There are lots of sports out there you could do.

alot of this could be your age, you are at the point where your body is rapidly growing and changing, so you may gain or lose weight in varying amounts. if you don't already have a routine exercise program, you might want to go ahead and start one to get in the habit now- even if you just start out with walking a mile (it can make a big difference). eating healthier foods will not help you if you eat too much of them. eat between 1500 and 2000 calories a day and you might want to give up cokes- they add alot of extra calories to your diet. try water instead.

I had been in this situation before. I went to a Nutritionist and got a diet advise. It worked well and within six months I was back in shape. I suggest that you visit a nutritionist or a dietician. They can recommend you a proper dose of food without sacrificing your nutrient requirements.

go to the gym.. exercise more than 20 minutes as the twenty minutes mean nothing at all. scientists proved that they are just getting the heart to pump more blood and get used to it. after the 20 minutes then your body will start to burn extra fats and calories.
