try to mix it in with something she will eat maybe 1/2 a dose at a time. Also look on the internet for a list of iron rich foods to chose from. be sure she is getting enough fiber so she doesn't get costipated from the iron.

Well don't make a big issue about it. She probably gets a lot of attention by refusing to take the pills.

Give her a lot of attention after she take the pills.

If it is a matter of taste (she doesn't like to eat them) then give her a choice of different things to try. But talk to your doctor or Pharmacist first.

doesn't matter if she avoids iron tonics. there are easier ways. Give her dates mixed with pure honey. (three to five pieces twice daily.) Give her plenty of greens (Drumstick in particular). If you are a non vegetarian and if she likes, give her some fried liver. Also vegetables like beetroot & turnip are rich with iron. Why don't you try these natural medicines rather than tonics and tablets?

You didn't mention how old your daughter is but if she is still a young child, you are still the one in charge.
My daughter was dxed with diabetes at age 2. Sure she didn't like finger sticks or shots but it had to be done for her health.
You need to step up and be the parent.

Feed her things with iron. I know liver and organ meats have iron, raisins.

Google foods rich in iron and find the ones she would like.

Get some braunswiger and make a sandwich spread for sandwiches. Tube of branswiger, pkg fat free cream chz. and fat free mayo to make it spreadable. It is made from liver and makes a great spread or dip in the food processor.

Good luck.

Try pills with a mixture of ferrous fumarate and ascorbic acid. If necessary these can be ground up and mixed with food.

i know blackmailing is bad but you have to do what you have to do. this is your daughter's health. i have it myself and i was giving some huge red pills, then i got some smaller green ones. i'm 25 and i have to make myself take them. but you as a parent have to force her. then tell her it's for her own good if she wants to get well.

If she is young you might be able to put them in a drink. Or just hold her down and put it in the side of her cheek.
