that's been ended in many areas now, China does not really have alot of problems, though some areas have a much higher rate of males to females, the government saw this as a potential problem that could lead to social unrest, and moved against the one child policy in many areas to rectify this.

Hard to say, perhaps to some extent, but still that many families having just one child each would still be a hell of a lot of people. If they lined up every person in China single file, and you started walking down the line from the beginning the day you were born, you would die of old age before you reached the end of the line...

the real problem from this type of policy only come after
the parents grow old and the state consider as a burden
to find replacement for what they are good in working at

Yes, it's slowed down their population growth and helped lift their economy.
That being said, it's an immoral system prone to corruption.
