After all that I've tried, my mother still won't shut up! So now I'm asking the world using Yahoo!! So I'm now hoping to get the correct answers! I'm 13. I don't think that she has friends that want to go out with her. All she wants is a lot of money so that she can pay back the banks. She's caught in a cycle that she's owing banks money 24-7. That's how she gets her money. She shouts at the slightest things! When I try to tell her that she's wrong or give my opinion she'll say something like "Don't try to be smart!", "Don't think you're so smart!" and "You don't know!"! Are the details I provided enough now?

The awnser is you don't shut her up. One day she will be gone and you will wish that you could hear her voice again.

Oh, we have the same dilemma. But i've learned how to deal with it.
First and foremost, mothers who inevitably have something to say are either too concerned or are undergoing menopause. Anyway, you have to know that there is NO WAY POSSIBLE to make her shut up about the right things. Like the way you might leave your stuff messily on the floor(you really do have to clean that up sometime, even if you find things easier to find in such a clutter) If she says something right, just listen, lazily. enough for you to repeat what she's told you. you can also tell her that screaming wont do. Tell her that other people can deliver messages in sign language and she has to scream and/or repeat every single thing she says? I doubt screaming will get through to anyone. Last of all, if what she's saying is disrespectful or humiliates you in front of other people, tell her straight up. Be mature and DON'T whine when you tell her.
When all else fails, get an apartment.

I guess the best way is to win her heart. Do something you know she will like. Also, what mothers like, is that to feel as if you are listening to what they saying and that you show that their opinion matters. It often does but sometimes opinions differ a lot! Listen to her and then make your point, calmly without flying off the handle. Stay calm and listen to whatever she has say before saying your bit. Important: dpn't lose your calm, this just motivates mothers to never give up.
Good luck

That'smean. She is just trying to do whats best for you. Maybe instead of being mean to her you could actually follow her rules and listen to her. One day she'll be gone and you'll relize how mean you've been. Plus she's not going to be there when your ready to apoligize. Think about that!! I also agree with coolbeans- she has a great answer

No, this is now not the passable for the infant to have adult men come and pass of their lives. I knew one little boy who grieved for an particularly long term whilst his mom broke up along with her boyfriend. that they had best lived jointly for roughly 6 months, however the boy obtained very linked to him, and to the guy's son as stable. It grew to become into as quickly as very nearly like a divorce. i've got faith all mom and pop, single or not, who're because of the fact taking a clean member into the family contributors would desire to think of intently approximately the way it's going to have an effect on their babies. That applies to boyfriends, girlfriends, grandparents, foster babies, or all people who would nicely be there for an prolonged term. often it would desire to be a staggering element for the youngsters, besides the shown fact that historically this is not.

What is she saying that is annoying you? Could it
be that she is nagging at you because you didn't
do something that you were supposed to do? Cut
mom a break. Or do like that other guy said and
buy her a gift or send her out with her friends for
a girls night out.

Who told you that mothers are suppose to shut their mouths? Might want to crop and eyebrow and figure that out first before you decide to over-react to such advice.

Tell her she is right. Agree with her even if you don't. Mothers like to feel inferior to the children. They think at all times that they know what is best for their offspring, even though they don't. Be the better person and suck it up long enough to get her off your back. This has worked for me for years. My grandma told me this when I asked her how to get my mom off my back.
