Hello Ryan...I'm sorry that you have had to experience this verbal and physical abuse from your grandfather. No one should ever have to experience this in their lifetime but unfortunately it does happen. One reason on why your grandfather has acted this way through your childhood is maybe he was abused during his lifetime by his father or someone in his family. This is a bad excuse but it's a trait. Where (not to get nosey) is your father? Is he around or is this your mother's dad that is abusive to you? If your dad is around can you talk to him about your issue? Does your mother know? You can't respect someone that is abusive. In fact your grandfather must not have respect for himself because one has to have respect for one's self before respecting others. I would have to stand ground and ask your grandfather on why he treats you as such, I'm not sure how old you are but me...I would definitely ask him on why he mistreats you as he does. He must have a reason. May not be a good reason but he has a reason thats for sure. How old is your grandfather anyway? Maybe it's jeolousy? Maybe he wishes he could be you? Maybe it's your youth. Who knows, but whatever the reason, it's not good for you. Try to stay your distance from him, I know it's difficult but maybe that's your only alternative. He probably loves you but in a different way that others in your family shows. I wish you all the luck, and it's great that you have excelled in school, he should be very proud of you for that. God Bless.

Honey my grandmother is the same with me. I have learned that if I ignore her and act like she isn't there she gets mad and leaves me alone. But for your grandpa sit him down and just ask him why he hates you so much. And when he tells you you can always say " I am still your Grandson. Yet you treat me like I am not part of this family!!!" Normally that sets my grandma straight. Good Luck Sugar.

examine out it this form. There are grandfathers available who ought to offer a rip if there grandsons improve up properly rounded or no longer - meaning they handle their grandchildren like play toys and are unable to set any form of occasion by way of fact they by no ability grew up. I youngster you no longer, how would you like a grandfather that acted like a baby and did no longer discipline you, did no longer handbook you, or variety shape...your father determine isn't around so your (grand)father is it for the era. If all you acquire became a your butt spanked turn off the rumor mill by way of fact it is not a sturdy component to be offered and offered....that brainwashing rubbish is greater so abuse than something. that is people desiring you to experience like a persistent sufferer so which you spend something of your existence paying them to cry to. that's the place you're headed in case you don't get out of the sufferer mode and fill your existence with beneficial attitude and depart the youngster elevating to the adults. "I excel in my the class devoid of any failing grades yet they supply the impact of being at me as though Im undesirable. they do no longer look to be happy with me."

Treat him as your friend. I am sure something has happened that is causing him to act this way. Ask your mother, perhaps she can help.
Good Luck!
