It's not so much that it grows back thicker it's the way it grows back in can make it appear thicker. Start waxing i'ts not too painful. Last longer than shaving and over time can make the hairs softer.

That theory is by far incorrect. The hair does not grow in thicker just because it was shaved off or waxed off. It is just an illusion.
So you have all this hair you shave it or wax it, when it starts to grow back in it always seems thicker/darker because you are not used to seeing it there. It's just an old wives tale.
But, if that were true you would end up looking like a monkey.

shave until you're so old then your face won't even bother to grow hair at all^^ meanwhile, if you don't shave, you'll still look like a monkey, maybe cream for leg hair will help, haha

Going on that theory, if you never shaved the hairs would grow thinner and thinner until one day they didnt grow at all.
