Would it be better to wash your face with cold water or hot water in the morning?
Cold water may be really refreshing but wont hot water kill all that bacteria? Which one is best?
Same with rinsing your mouth after brushing your teeth...
I'm just wondering because me and my mom always do opposite- I use cold water for washing my face and rinsing my mouth and my mom uses hot water for washing her face and rinsing her mouth.
Any suggestions? =)
Thanks.

It's really your choice. Which ever feels best to you. For one time, try washing and rinsing with warm and see if you like it better. There's not much of a difference besides how it feels to you. Also, like people have been saying, it's maybe a bit better to wash your face with warm water, then cold water to clean out your pores.
Hope that helps. =)

You should "wash" your face with warm water, followed by cool/cold water "rinse" when you're done. Washing with warm water opens the pores to clear any dirt/bacteria from them with the facial cleanser you use. Then once the dirt is removed the cool water rinse will help close the pores to help keep dirt out.
As far as brushing your teet; more of a personal preference...a lot of people don't use real cold or hot but a combination of in between...tepid or lukewarm; more importantly always followed by routine flossing & some sort of mouthrinse to help fight gum disease.

As far as I know in order for hot water to kill bacteria it has to be boiling (100 C)
For you rinsing your mouth should use lukewarm water, nor cold nor hot because this might hurt your teeth and their roots.
For your face it is optional between cold and luckewarm water, being the last the best option.

If you are using a face cleanser with water use warm water when applying and cool water to rinse. Your face will feel refreshed after using both warm and cold water. The cold water at the end will stimulate your skin cells to radiate.

Hot water helps to open your pores and bring out the toxins and cold water helps to constrict.

A good way to wash your face would be to wash with warm water at first to bring out the impurities from the pores and then finish up with cool water so you won't have big pores on your facial skin.

Both. Start with hot water to open your pores and get the oil out of your skin. then rinse with cold water to close them back up.

I think it's personal preference. Warm water and soap does kill germs better, but rinsing with warm water after brushing your teeth is just gross. Just wash your toothbrush with hot water after you brush.

It's funny because I like to use warm water for both. Mid way between hot and cold.

You make misstake with thinking that hot water "kills" bacteria. To be some bacteria "killed",there is need of water higher than 40 deegrees of Celsius. So,because of refreshing,it's better to use cold water. There is difference just in the use of cosmetical substances.
