Technology can be a good and bad thing. The internet has almost become a library in every home that has a computer and online access. You want to research something... wa la.... it is right there. Television may not be as "useful" but there is important information there as well. I don't necessarily agree with people who believe that television isn't necessary. Television shows can be educational.... from your cable provided do it yourself channel.... giving people ideas on how to improve your home with easy projects you and "do it yourself'. Educational programs that can teach people about different countries, the enviroment, or entertain children while still teaching them their ABC's. As with everything all things should be in moderation.

The usefullness of the internet cannot be denied, but if you sit and stay online for too many hours everyday, you will become physically unhealthy. That is the same with television. I say it is great, but in moderation.
