....and since most Western world countries are at 0 population growth, or just above in the case of America, or just below, if you are speaking about certain European countries..--- if you take out immigration that is,
Don't the facts simply support that it is the dying equation that has changed, not the birth?, and that is what has gotten us into the overpopulation boom we have today,
Do you think people's reproduction should be controlled morso in countries that have more problems, ie Africa, India, Middle East,
or should we depend on thier numbers to sustain Western country's futures?
Why would war or famine or any plague be the worst thing if we are complaining about overpopulation?

Yes to your question.
For centuries the wars and diseases kept the population down.
We have less wars and medicine has extended our lives.
The third world countries live in poverty so having a lot of children doesn't bother them.
The advanced countries live in an advanced economy and are controlled by the economy.
So they self limit the population.
Also they are not controlled by Catholic doctrine in advanced countries and are in third world countries like south america and mexico.
Eventually the resources will limit the population growth. ie. food and water.

We do not have a population problem!!!
If everyone wanted to live in one city at a population density similar to New York City, the world's six billion people could live in Texas.
In fact, the real emergency lies in the fact that populations are falling!
By the beginning of next year, more than seventy countries representing more than half the world's population will have below replacement rate fertility, which is defined as 2.1 children per woman.
According to United Nations projections, the population of the world will peak at seven-plus billion about the year 2040, and then begin to decline.
God bless,

No, it rather is not a worldwide undertaking. The Earth can cope with a lot greater. the undertaking is distribution. working example, Ethiopia could be overpopulated for what that piece of land can help. inspite of the undeniable fact that, Russia can help a lot greater people, as can the country. I observed a learn that confirmed in case you place the completed inhabitants of the Earth right into a US sort residential community in households of 5, the section taken up could be the dimensions of Texas. of direction that could take an excellent variety of infrastructure and does not be useful, inspite of the undeniable fact that it shows our footprint so some distance as inhabitants isn't that undesirable. yet another factor that the people terrified of inhabitants growth do in comparison to is worldwide Warming. The lobbyist tout the variety that ends the worldwide, because of the fact it particularly is horrifying and attracts people in. it rather is not the only variety. because of the fact the Earth warms up, it unquestionably creates greater farm-able land around the globe. The equator region ought to suck, yet think of roughly maximum of Russia and Canada growing to be farmland. a undeniable volume of world warming unquestionably will strengthen how a lot inhabitants the Earth can carry.

Overpopulation is a contemporary myth. If you took everyone on earth and gave them enough land to live on you could fit the entre world's population into the state of Texas. Now, is the world really overpopulated?

Yes, western countries have an ageing population. Because of rising social security costs to maintain this ageing population, will these countries be able to sustain its growth without immigration?
Peace and every blessing!

I think we should keep our noses and opinions out of what other countries do with the overpopulation problems. We're not the world police. If you recommend education on birth control and/or giving them free or low cost sterilization for those that want it, I'd be for that. But we cannot force another country to do anything. We have no right to do that.

You are half right. There are too many people being born for the planet to support. However, there are plenty dying young. On the news last night there was a stat that around 15,000 children are dying each day through the lack of clean drinking water, alone. It's not happening in your or my country, so we don't see it.
