Tuna needs to be sourced carefully as others have answered here.
It can have a high mercury content. ~ Once per week is advisable.
As you are an athlete, you have to eat slightly more protein than most of us. Physical activity and exertion as well as enhanced muscular mass increase your need for protein.
You can meet your requirements, about an extra 0.5 grams per kilogram of body weight per day through a varied diet.
Protein supplements and drinks can be a waste of money but may be a convenient alternative for a quick breakfast. The best I have found are called PowerGen.
Other dietary sources of protein include meat, eggs, dairy, grains and legumes.
Good Luck with your training!

certain that's secure carefully, you're allowed 4 small cans a week, there are extreme ranges or mercury in tuna that can damage your babys worried equipment, yet to make sure that that to happen you would opt to devour about 5 cans a week for about 4 months on the trot. if you're having clean tuna steaks, then you could have 2 in a week as that has more suitable ranges of mercury. I craved tuna for a lengthy time period too, i became eating tuna sandwiches frequent for some month, my toddler is extremely healthful.

Tuna is great ! However tinned i would not recommend !
Tins do not make the healthiest containers for the food we consume. I would rather try and get the Tuna in it's natural state from a local fishery. Ask any Natural Practitioner and they would tell you the same. Also bear in mind, for the tuna to stay fresh in a tin, they need to add preservatives, i would not want to consume these on a daily basis. Fresh and Natural is still your safest healthiest bet.
