I am buying a V6 mustang and the guy that has it now put in cold air intake and a performance chip. I was wondering how much horsepower those things add. I think the 2000 V6 mustang has 190 HP to start.

Probably 7-10 hp - just an estimate. I'm not really knowledgeable in domestic V6 cars, and certainly not the Stang. Good luck though!

Generally speaking, the stock intake on the new edge cars isn't particularly restrictive. On an otherwise stock engine, gains, if any will be minimal. If you had other modifications to go with it, like an exhaust or a tune, then more improvement would be realized.
