True Believers are blind to contradiction and have double standards. You are correct in pointing out this one. They use assumptions to try to prove asssumptions. I do not see that the universe is so perfect. My sister says she talks to her god, so she can tell him I am not satisfied that he gave me kidneys that quit and required painful surgery with a year of weakness, soreness and pain before a second session. That is not my idea of perfection. On the other extreme, the world is not nearly as bad as she says...except in her case. Many natural and innocent things are callede sins to make people feel guilty and pay a priest to relieeve that false guilt. What a swindle. Robert S. DeRopps said that organized religion is the oldest con game. I believe that!

Earth and world are sometimes, but not always, used as synonyms.

Sayings such as, Down to earth, in his own little world; or movie title, War of the Worlds; or Country song, Make the World Go Away, while not religious, show that the same distinction found in Scripture is made in common use.

Satan for example offered Jesus the kingdoms of this world. He already owns the earth.

Once we see that words have synonyms both our vocabulary and our understanding is greatly increased.

The bible tells us God made a perfect world but then populated it with human scum which destroyed it. The bible clearly tells us we are pond scum, but those of us who follow Jesus will be saved but the rest of you scum deserve eternal torture.

The creation is perfect, but we messed it up, we sinned against God, He gave us a law, we broke it, the penilty is death, but sense He loves us, He willing died in our place and rose from the grave, defeating death and hell, and now all we have to do is repent of our sins and trust in Him. That is the message, what part of it offends you, the part that God loves us or that He died for us?

Or neither. Perhaps the world is quite simply what we have made of it.

christians are so indecisive, I believe we make the world what we want it to be, but people dont want to believe that, so the world becomes what those in power want it to be, which is very bad.

LOL!
Very well said.
Christians are the biggest flip-floppers I've ever met.
And they all have my pity.
