First of all I would like to point out that there are no "funny" diseases . All diseases are sad, some dramatic and impair to a cerain extent the quality of life.
That said if by "funny" you mean strange, rare, not known to the general public , any first year medical school student can cite dozens: here is one: the Maagdenburg syndrome. This is a genetic disorder seriously affecting various organic systems. One of the most visible symptoms is a flock of white hair in the middle of the forehead amidst totally normally colored hair. As it is genetic all members of the same family have it. At present there is no treatment.

Does it must be actual???? If now not...Fimdiddlyosis...I made it up a 12 months or two ago.... It is a sickness the place you laugh uncontrollably at some thing said, idea, or executed that used to be fairly stupid. There's no healing for it, and if you end up in class or something and also you think of whatever funny and start laughing folks suppose you are nuts given that they do not know what you are laughing at.

Jamaican vomiting sickness is a good one. Mittleschmirtz always sounded funny to me: it is the pain a woman sometimes feels mid-cycle at the time of ovulation; it is German for "midcycle". As a doctor, if I ever told a patient "ma'am, I'm afraid you have a bad case of Mittleschmirtz with a touch of Jamaican vomiting sickness", I'd be laughed out of the emergency department.

Hypochondriasis, psychological disorder where you think something is wrong with you and nothing is wrong with you(this is the definition of it.
It's really a name doctors give you when they can't figure out what's wrong with you, they're too busy or too lazy to figure it out. Many years back, diabetics and Syphilus patients were considered crazy.

There also used to be a disease called Female Hysteria... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_hysteria .
Doctors 100 years from now will probably be making fun of our current medical treatment/community.

although i have to agree that its wrong to revel in the suffering of others i also think its funny when people have irrational fears. hypochondriasis is one of those issues that gives me a chuckle (not quite as funny when you find out something is reall wrong).

i'd like to add phobias to your list of funny diseases. i'm not saying its funny to have a phobia. it's just funny the type of phobias some people have. personally, i have an irrational fear of insects. even i have to laugh at myself for how silly i can be about it.
check out this link for something to chuckle about.

Maybe it's me, but I fail to find humour in other's suffering.

IMHO, you need to either grow up or get some serious counselling.
