What is good in the case of any toxic substance abuse should hold good for the use of Marijuana also. First the gradual but determined reduction in intake, then simultaneous starting of detoxification of the body and mind , and building up of spiritual strength.
On Detoxification, I have found the use of fresh juice of roots such as Carrot , Radish, and fruit juices that are acidic in nature, such as Tangarene Orange, Lime Juice, and body purifiers like Pearl Barley Boiled in concentration of 5% serve the purpose admirably. Always enlist the support of a dear one with plenty of patience and a determination to see you out of the woods, to keep you on the regimen. In case you can stand it, attempt laxatives to cleanse the G.I. tract of residual traces of the drug from the system.Keep adequate stock of Oral rehydration solution handy.Never allow dehydration to occur during the recovery phase.
If you are religiously inclined, prayer schedules fixed to follow the detoxification efforts every day can work wonders. Even if you are a non-believer, I suggest that you make an assertive statement in favour of never again wanting to use the harmful substances for the sake of elusive thrills, and repeat it a few times evry day in all seriousness.

well first of all to quit, u need to understand that thc(in cannibis) is not addictive, many tests and whatnot have never come up with any proof that it is addictive....
although ur body can become dependant on the drug, i am now 20 and as the drug took over my life and ****** with my head i had to stop,i had been smokin 4 yrs so i thought it was really hard, so i did some research on it and found that while it is not addictive, if u spin it with tobacco(addictive) ur mind associates cones with an addictive quality, which in turn brings on an addiction to the acts of pulling the bong...
it is all in the mind and if u want to quit for health purposes then u need to want it... not just say oh yeh ima quit soon, coz it wont work, u have to want to quit, and if u smoke cigerettes dont associates the need for nicotine or pulling a bong with the actual marijuana itslef, if u have trouble with this pull a bacci bong, that should make u wanna stop...
