I'd personally prefer to do my shopping at local independant shops - butchers, greengrocers and similar, but due to present circumstances I'm not able to.

For the most part I'm unable to leave the house, so I do my shopping on line. I've found Tesco to be the best delivery service - a few minor problems but they always do their best to rectify them.

I'd love to be able to support local retailers, hopefully one day I'll be able to - I find the fresh produce at the little shops to be much better quality.

I've been to lidl a few times and they do have some bargains. There aren't as many Lidl, Netto or Aldi type shops down south - I used to have a Netto within walking distance when I lived up North, and they had some good value products.

I do the majority of my shopping at the supermarket but then if I just need something very quickily I will use the local retailers. But the local ones for obvious reasons are more expensive and the supermarket isn't that far away

Both. I get the bulk of my shopping from Tesco but on a Saturday, I visit my local shops for things like farm eggs, pet food, etc. I believe you must support local shops where you can.

Super Wal-Mart's produce is TERRIBLE!!!! Very limited and not good quality looking produce, but as for everything else in the aisle's at Wal-mart, they are reasonably priced. I like independent grocers at times for certain things, and I shop at Jewel and Dominick's because I live in the midwest (Illinois). However, they are very high retailers.

Asda or Tesco - I alternate between the 2 as they are both close to where I live......

All the local butchers and fruit and veg shops have closed near me, so I have no choice really. It's a shame like....

I buy most of my weekly shopping at the local supermarket.
I find them excellent value for money, and you can get everything under one roof. Plus you can always get parked easy. Most of our local retailers charge the earth for the most basic things...just last week they were charging £1.20p for a tin of baked beans. I am only loyal to my purse, it takes ages to earn my money so I do not give it away.

I nearly always do my food shopping in Tesco. It's affordable and I can shop at my convenience. I often don't finish work until 8pm so being able to shop after work is a bonus (plus the stores are quiet!).
