has god ever made you mad before? while he does provide blessings he allows indecentness by people in the world to continue.while people cant control other people god can and hes allowing pain, suffering, cruelty, harshness, bitterness and etc. to go on.i know satan is more of how the world is,but god is supposely more powerful than the devil and hes suppose to be a loving god then why doesnt he do something about the wickedness in the world? i was saved almost 5 yrs ago,but at times ive been thinking of backsliding because i feel at times god has betrayed not just me,but anyone who believes in him for allowing this much suffering in daily life.

There is no God to betray you as there is no satan to tempt you.

There is much suffering that is being prevented in the world RIGHT NOW because God has sent Christians and donations from Christian churches to aid those in need. Christian organizations are often first to go to the aid of those in want, due to war and natural disaster.

The scriptures say that WE are Christ's body, his arms and legs and voices. We must do what we can to aid those in need. Some Christians go to the place of need, others pray, others give money and support. Together we do make a difference, although it may not be evident to us everyday.

We live in a fallen world. Pain and suffereing is the result of that fall. Do not be troubled, brother, this world is but an instant and in the blink of an eye God will call us all home. We must trust God and give thanks for how much IS being done in His name.

Evil is great in the world, in order to discourage us, but we have the Good News. Hold tightly to that. Lean on God for solace and hope. Be at peace.

I don't fully understand why God allows pain and suffering, nor do I understand how allowing us free will, even when it causes us to stray from Him, is an act of love. But someone did once tell me that God allows this world to be imperfect so that we don't get so attached to it that we never strive for the life eternal. I guess that makes sense in a way.
As for not doing anything about the wickedness in the world, that's why He sent His Son to die for our sins. No, Christ didn't erase all the wickedness, but he gives us reason to hope and rejoice in, that this wicked world isn't all there is.
Oh, and to answer your first question, yes, I have been mad at God. He understands.

Friend, Why would you want to go back to the things you did before, You say that you were saved almost 5 yrs. ago, Friend, I was saved 37 yrs. ago, I see nothing in this world that I ever want to go back to, God has brought me through the Fire To purify me, That at the end I will come out as shinning Gold. God told Adam & Eve what the penalty would be if they sin, Yet they went against God's perfect will. Some of the test I went through was I lost my dad 11 months after I was saved, it was a blow but yet God gave me the grace, I lost all my grandparents, a Nieace, a sister-in-law, a step dad, My 1st wife of 22 yrs. a brother-in-law, my mother. a mother-in-law & a father-in-law. But through it all God gave me the grace to face it all. Now you ask why won't God stop all of this, he will soon. You can find that in Rev.20:13-15 where God will bound satan for 1000 yrs. & then after the 1000 yrs. God will let satan loose a little season to test those born in the milliennium, Then God will take Satan, the wicked dead & hell & cast them all into the lake of fire.

of course I've been pissed off at Him. That's been in the past tho. I'd always wonder why He let this and that happen. Why would let bad things happen to faithful people. But now that I more mature and have more knowledge about Him through study the Bible and His Word, I get it. There are temptations set before us all the time. These are set in front of us be other people, by the media, by commercials, ads, our own pride, our human nature., etc. These temtpations can be postive and negative. The positive ones are the ones that God leads us to and the negative ones are the ones that Satan leads us to. A positive one is when we are tempted to help the poor by donating money or things we have or by traveling to other countries on missionaries. A negative one is when we are tempted to ignore the poor around us and only care about ourself and being judgmental about them. If we give into the good temptation and help the poor, God blesses us. If we give into the bad temptation and ignore the poor, God ignores us and Satan laughs and tries to keep tempting us.

Both God and Satan uses our weaknesses. God helps us turn our weaknesses into a strength and Satan flaunts our weaknesses in front of us and takes our self-esteem from us little be little.

We all want to blame someone, and most the time we blame God for how people are. People are the way they are because of sin and there sin at that. People have cause this world to be bad. God didnt make them that way, but know man can shorten their days as well. God hasnt betrayed you. God never promised us a perfect world. What would backsliding prove anyways? It would prove you left God and abandonded him. Hang in there and pray for those who are bad and wicked. Witness to them about God and Jesus.

Have I been mad at God? OH YEAH!

Like you, I have been at points where I thought that God could have done more. But when I honestly looked at the situations - I could see where mankind was making personal choices and they most def. did not include God. I prayed - but others rejected the options given in favor of their own choices. Thus - no change.

The freewill that mankind has is a double edged sword. Just as it can open doors to cut away the negative - it also can cut to block the positive.

yes i have. and it doesnt make you a bad christian because you do. when i was ranting and raving about the state of the world once and Gods total lack of interest, a very well educated (spiritually) man told me that this is the 1000 year rule of Satan. if you remember in the Bible it does say that Satan was thrown out of heaven - so it makes sense to say that he rules here on earth and God in heaven. and thats why humans have free-will right? we can choose to live a sinful life here on earth under Satans rule, or we can follow Gods way. i hope this helps set your mind at ease like it did mine! God Bless

God has given us everything we need to either make this world a good place, or a bad place. At some point, it has to be up to us.

Man is the one who causes most suffering. Man is the one who should be the one asked "HOW can you allow all this suffering in the world?" It's like asking "How can a parent allow thier adult child to drive drunk" or sleep around, or steal things. Parents must raise their children to be good people, but when they get to be adults, it's up to the child to be a good person and his parents can't do anything more.

Same with God. He has given His children all they need to be good people, and now, it's up to US to honor Him by taking care of each other.

"In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these, my brethren, ye have done it unto Me".

Yes, I have been angry with God a few times. However, I realized that I was not really angry with God but myself, for not understanding His plan, and so I repented of my anger and I trusted Him more, as I am learning to do on a daily bases. Remember God sees the big picture as well as the small, He knows your suffering and He suffered for you, He will not let you take on more than you can handle, but because He knows that growth requires pain, He will not shield you completly from it. Run the race, finish the course.

Daniel, I think as a Christain that we really get made at the situations not so much at God. To answer your question though I have run all the emotions with God. It's a good thing he's patient isn't it?
